UPDATE ON T-BA

Well i am finally in my new place, which i very happy with at the moment actually. It's just a small two bedroom cottage with a HUGE back yard and downstairs laundry. it's been renovated recently and looks rather plesant. Also it's been fitted with all modern electrical outlets.

However, why i like my house is that we finally got pay tv. Which is something you deffenetly need out here. I dont know how i lived with out it before.

Ben and Gerrod you would of been happy this last week end. 3 full long days of back to back episodes of Seinfield.

well all i can say i've been doing is working and going out to dinner or lunch every now again. You really do live the simple life out here, but it's working for me at the moment.

so take care every body!

Leisa is coming back to Oz in September

well if you havnt heard, the news so far, is that leisa is returining to Australia once again. However, only for 4 days. Her reasoning for coming, her very close friend Nicole is getting married. But for what ever the reason i'm just glad i get to see my Big sis!

HOME SWEET HOME

For all you who dont know, i appoligise for not writing but i have come face to face with many porblems here in Toowoomba.

Well here's the long tale that completes my story in Toowoomba or T-ba as the locals call it. Well the people we're currently staying with are not who i thought the were, nor are they people i wish to ever associate with ever again.

Since staying with them, a few thing have gone missing, like my wallet, my partners wallet, our keys, and above all my gorgeous beautiful cat. I will also tell you that all these things were taken while the house was locked and no sign of entry to the house other the then door has been done. So i don't think your need to be Sherlock holms to assume the true story of our missing things, but unfortunately without proof your assumptions mean nothing. On top of all that they decided to leave a letter saying we have two weeks to get out or the police will be called to escort us out. which is all good but since all our money and id's were taken it's a little hard to get a place, and plus we work all the time and during business hours, plus we dont have a car, so to do anything takes us 4 hours longer to do.

Now why, you ask?? why would they do this??. Well before we came up Damien's sister rang us and ask us if we wanted to take over her lease when we came up. As her and her husband to be, decided to brake up and she couldnt afford it on her own. We said sure we'll move in but you stay there too. We told her about Cooper and asked if that was fine and she said yes.

well after two week s of being up here, she and her boyfriend get back together, so then she decides that she wants the place to herself and wants us out. I said fine, but could she wait a month or so till we get a job and get the bond orgainsed. They both said fine. SInce then all they have done is complained and moaned about us being there and things have been going missing and angry letters have been left for us to read.

so after 2 weeks of absolute stress, we finally get a house, and are moving this saturday. However, none of our stuff has been returned nor have we found my beautiful cat...it's been a week now thats he's been gone.

so if any of you are having a bad day just think...well at least i'm not in toowoomba, and your sure to feel better.

as i see it i've had enough bad luck to last me awhile so all thats ahead for a while is a good strong steardy path

A KATIE THING

Well we all know that Katie loves to pull fun at all the things i stuff up, or even simply say, so here's one back at you katie ott.

As you might of read, earlier i wrote a blog stating Katie lost her stationary rights as she ordered a $300 paper cutter. WELL Katie rang me up and told me she got them back. (I assumed she had done her time). Well miss ott was looking through the catalogue to find that now you can actually buy liquid chalk. We were both surprised about the worlds development in chalk, as we really dont have much to be surprised about these days. But to katie's annoyance there was a problem to the product. You see Katie had a problem with the colour selection. It came in white, red, green, blue, orange and purple. Whats the problem you might ask???

the problem to katie was THERE WAS NO BLACK and she couldnt understand why

well you see katie....you cant see black on a black board

CAT UPDATE

Cooper is still in his cast and still being annoying. He WONT STOP WALKING ON IT!!

I HAVE A JOB

Well it finally came,.......i finally got a job. Well as you know i had an interview with a restraunt called Gips, and i actually got it. The job's not exactly what i would like to be doing, or even in the industry i want to be in, but you got to do what you got to do.

I'm also moving house, as currently we're living with damien's sister, and things are just too crazy and hectic for our liking, so finding a place is on the top of our to do list.

And yes last Thursday was my birthday, and my lovely brother Ben, tried to ring me and thank you for the quick hello. Also my lovely sister came and picked me up for the day to spend at home doing the family dinner with mum and Bob. I enjoyed it very much and coudlnt ask for it to have gone any other way.

SO THANKS LEISA!!!

I know, It's Been Awile....

Well, i'm in my third week in Toowoomba, and let me tell you, my drama's have only sky rocketed. However, my greatest problem was/is finding work. You see there plenty of jobs in Toowoomba, and there are plenty of centrelink demanders here in Toowoomba, so i thought my chances would be high in achieving work. 1. because of my expierence in hospitality and 2. Because i come from Brisbane. I thought coming from Brisbane would be to my advantage as i was used to a face paced environment.....but i was wrong. It's worked in the complete opposite way. I cant get work because 1. i'm not a local 2. i'm not at uni and 3. i'm too old.

However, Mission Australia have come to my resue YAY and have organised an interview with a very nice restraunt here in Toowoomba called Gipps. Apparently one of the best here, and the possition is for front of house. SO fingers crossed for MONDAY.

Well apart from that Damien has found himself a great job as a restraraunt manager at a newly referbished placed called Encores, it looks really nice and his first day is today. My cat Cooper broke his bloody leg....like i really need that right now. However, it is funny to see him try to walk, as he meows constantly cause he's so bored and cant walk any where. AND you should see him go to the toilet, as it's his left back leg thats in a cast.

And it's my birthday in 6 days, march the 17th which is rather sad, cause i wont be able to do anything for it, but such as life hey.

well hopefully you can hear from me soon, when i start working i can fix my conputer and get the net organised and then the usual updates will be made..

IT FINALLY HIT

Well it' s sad to say but today will be the last day i will able to write anything for awhile. You know how it is when you move,

pack, clean, drive, unpack, clean, sort, organise

so connecting the internet will probably one of those things that i'll do once i'm settled in and have enough money.

But i must admit about 12 o'clock last night, me moving, and Ben leaving actually finally hit me. I think it was the fact that today is my last day at work and i have three days left and so so much to do.

But i will admit i'm excited about going somewhere new, but i'm dying inside as i'm moving away from my family. I know that sounds sappy, but i'm lost without them. I know we don't see a lot of each other but it's the thought that they're just down the road that keeps me happy.

So remember Priebe family, especially you B! I'll miss you more than you think

NOT HAPPY AT ALL

okay, right now i don't think i've ever been so annoyed at someone in my intire life. I mean i'm really angry, like really frustrated, i'm GOING CRAZY!!!!

Why you might ask, well i'll tell you. For you B105 listeners you'll know what i'm talking about. At the moment B105 has a new competition out called Phone Bingo this game is played when they'll call out numbers, one every hour. If that number appears in your phone number you cross it out. When they call out all your numbers you sms Bingo to B105. Now you see, i've been listening all week, playing with people's numbers in hope of actually winning. I also left about $2 on my phone so i could enter if my number should possibly come up. Well this morning i'm listening and what should happen 9 of my 10 numbers have been called. So i set Bingo on my text with the number ready (if god would be so kind to me), if my last number should be called. So i'm listening away and what should happen 0 is called out. My final number, so i quickly press send, to only quickly get a message sent to my phone saying insufficient funds.

Damien, my partner, decided last night,....that he would use my phone to send a pointless message,...which of course was the cost of me not winning a single thing

Why do i have such bad luck :0(

CHILLIE CHOC TIM TAMS

I don't know if any of you guys have seen Tim Tam's latest, but they have brought out three new yummy flavers to their collection.

We now have

1. Chill Choc Tim Tam
2. Black Forest Tim Tam
3. Toffee Tim Tam

So far i've only had the joy of tasting the Chillie Choc as i couldn't resist the thought of chillie and chocolate together. (If you've seen chocolate you'll know what i mean). But i must say the Black Forest does look absolutely irresistible.

Chillie Choc Tim Tam 7/10

Caramel Tim Tams are still my favourite!

BUT IT FELT SO REAL??

Imagine.......

Imagine, your swimming in the great pacific ocean. Your on holidays and you've always dreamt about snorkelling in the Great Barrier Reef, and today's the day. The sky is blue, the sun is brightly shining, and the water is crystal blue. At first your a little nervous being out in open water but soon your fears fade away as the excitment of seeing a wave of colourful fish swim past your face

Then suddlenly you feel this immense pain shooting up your left leg, like someone is stabbing you with ten million little tooth picks, you start to panic as the pain increases and increases

Then BAM!

You suddenly wake up. And all you can keep thinking is 'but it felt so real'!

Well last night i had one of those expierences. I was soundly asleep, snuggled up between my sheets, when suddenly i feel this intense pain in my right shoulder blade, like something was biting me. I suddenly woke up, and to my suprise my partner's teeth were biting into my right shoulder blade. I shrieked from the pain, and then suddenly he woke up.

Odd you think, my partners biting me in his sleep.......yeah well i thought so too. And the next 15 minutes i have Damien apologising profusely. Apparently he was dreaming too

VALENTINES DAY

L is for the way you look at me
O is for the only one I see
V is very, very extraordinary
E is even more than anyone that you can adore

Love is all that I can give to you Love is more than just a game for two Two in love can make it Take my heart and please don't break it Love was made for me and you

Well it has once again arrived, the day of love and romance, and of course my brother Michael's birthday.

It's a day we're couples re-ignite those old flames and spend $150 on half a dozen roses or $25 for just the one. Well for me, i'm not much of a Valentines girl and i wont be celebrating it once again but for you old saps out there who are, i hope you have a wonderful expensive day.

If you havnt organised anything yet, and you've only now relaised that all the restraunts are fully booked out, here are a few helpful hints.

1. Midnight Picnic at New Farm Park (End of Brunswick Street New Farm)

All you need is a blanket, a few lanterns (you know those camper lanterns for light)
cushions, wine, and the food should just be tapas food...like turkish bread with olive pesto, sundried tomatoes and fetta cheese on toasted bread squares and some brie cheese

(The beach works a treat as well)

2. Mecca Bah (Foritude Valley, 1000 Ann St ( in between Wickem and Ann st)

Why this place? Well if you havnt been there before it's a middle eastern restaurant, Brisbane's Biggest Restaurant at the moment and they DON'T TAKE BOOKINGS so if you turn up early enough you'll get a seat. But i do mean turn up early cause this restaurant will do 400 covers a night and it only seats 200 at a time. However, the food is fantastic and the wine selection is even better and all food is under the price of $20.

I would say choose the Mezza, it's smaller portions but if you grab a few you have a great selection (my favourite chickpea crumbed mussles FANTASTIC)

3. MUNCHKINS (MT Mee, Dayboro)

Well If you like this idea you'll have to be quick as they're nearly fully booked for lunch and dinner. However, this place is the place for Romance. It's on top of Mt Mee in a old Queenslander styled Restauraunt. The Views are picturesque, absolutely gorgeous and the food is fantastic as well. You'll looking at general modern Australia food, steak, seafood, roasts as well as scones with jam and cream. The price is a little more than the other two options and expect to pay around $200 for the evening (thats eating and drinking generously), but i assure you , you will not be dissapointed.

The number to call is 5498 2244

MOVING

You know they say moving is the second most stressful thing a person can endure??

The first is a loved one dying.......

So every one out there that matters to me, please don't die, as i really can't deal with it right now
